In the left-hand navigation pane there is a Bulk mailbox folder, also known as your personal quarantine.
Spam email that is sent to you appears in your Bulk mailbox folder. This enables you to monitor your quarantined email to make sure that none of them are actually legitimate email that were mistaken for spam.
To facilitate such monitoring, you can periodically receive a quarantine report that lists recent additions to the personal quarantine, and enables you to release or delete email in the quarantine. For information on disabling or enabling the quarantine report, see “Customizing your antispam settings”.
If you determine that an email is not spam, you can add the sender to your personal white list to ensure that email from that person will not be mistaken as spam in the future. Conversely, if you decide that email from that person is always spam, you can add that email address to your personal black list. For details, see “Customizing your antispam settings”.
To release an email from the personal quarantine, simply click the release button.
| Field/Button | Description |

| Delete | Deletes the selected message or messages permantely from the quarantine. |
| Save As | Prompts you to save the selected message or messages to your computer. |
| Release | Releases the selected messages from your quarantine so that you will receive them in your Inbox. This also whitelists the sender so they will not be quarantined again. |
| Mark As Read | Marks the message as read inside of the quarantine. |
| Mark as Unread | Marks the message as unread inside of the quarantine. |
| Report Spam | To train the system to recognize email similar to this one as spam in the future, mark the check box of the email, then click this button. |
| Clear Spam | To train the system to recognize email similar to this one as not spam in the future, mark the check box of the email, then click this button. |
The BDH Technology Mail Filter Page provides extensive antispam services that work to prevent unwanted (spam) email from reaching your inbox. Most of these will be managed by your network administrator, and require no effort from you.
Some features, however, can be configured with your own personal preference. To configure your antispam preferences, click Preferences, go to the Antispam Management section, and configure the following:

| Add outgoing email addresses to White list | If the people to whom you send email can be trusted to never send spam to you, you can whitelist their email addresses. This guarantees that replies or other email they send to you is never accidentally marked as spam, and therefore will not be rejected, discarded, or quarantined (that is, sent to your Bulk mailbox folder). To whitelist the recipients of email that you send, turn this option on. Tip: Alternatively, you can manually add individual email addresses to your personal white list or personal black list. |
| Black/White lists | Click Black or White to manually manage the black or white list. In the popup dialog box, you can add or delete email addresses in the black or white list. You can also backup or restore the black/white list. Note: In addition to your personal white list and personal black list, there are system-wide or per-domain white lists and black lists, which have priority over your personal settings. If your black list or white list is not working as you expect, please contact us. |
| Receive spam report | This enables the periodic sending of a quarantine report that lists recent additions to the personal quarantine, and enables you to release or delete email in the quarantine. To receive your personal quarantine reports, turn this option on. |
